The Denkyira Traditional Council has expressed its absolute
belief and confidence in Vice President and Flagbearer of the
NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia,, in his bid to serve Ghana as
President.
Welcoming Dr. Bawumia to Dunkwa on Offin Wednesday
during his campaign tour of the area, the Denkyira
Traditional Council, in a speech read by Nana Kwame
Nkrumah II, said, Dr. Bawumia has been blessed, and no one
can destroy him.
"Who the Lord has blessed, no one can destroy," said the
Chiefs.
Rains fell in the town as Dr. Bawumia arrived, and the
Traditional Council said it signalled enormous blessings to
the town through Dr. Bawumia.
"Your presence here is a blessing for all of us. The first sign of
blessings you have brought to us is the rain. We have not
seen the rains here for sometime now but today that you
have been here, God has opened the heavens for the rains
to fall to coincide with your visit, which is indeed a sign of
blessings. It signifies victory."

"The Denkyira Traditional Council also commended Dr.
Bawumia for his conduct and decency in the 2024 campaign.
"Since you were elected Flagbearer, we have noticed the
decency in your communication. You do not insult. You are
always talking about your policies and preaching against
indecent comments," they said.
"We have not heard you insult anyone since you started
your campaign and this shows that indeed you are a man of
wisdom who thinks deeply."
"You are humble and you have lots of respect for the elderly
and for everybody. May God bless you more.'
The Chiefs used the opportunity to commend the Akufo-
Addo government for doing a great job, including the
implementation of Free SHS, which they said has brought
relief to many homes in Denkyira.
