Barcelona will be vying to bounce back from their surprise loss to Bayern Munich last time out in the Champions League when they travel to Benfica on Thursday evening.
Barca suffered a 3-1 loss at the Allianz Arena – their first defeat since last season’s Champions League final – but can be assured of their quarter-final spot should they emerge victorious in Portugal.
Bayern’s surprise victory means that, despite picking up six points from their last two matches against Rosengard, Benfica will exit the Champions League on Thursday should they lose to Barcelona and Bayern beat Rosengard in the group’s other game.
