The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Bosomtwe District of the Ashanti region, Hon. Lawyer Joseph Assuming has made a passionate appeal to traditional authorities in his district to always consult and secure site layout from the district assembly before lands are sold to prospective landowners.
Hon. Assuming said effective site layout can influence positive outcomes for space usage of social activities like police stations, road networks, health centers, markets, churches, and sanitation areas and however increase revenue mobilization for the assembly.
Hon. Lawyer Joseph Assuming was speaking as the Guest Speaker during the fundraising ceremony organized by traditional authorities to raise funds to construct additional classroom blocks for New Kokobriko primary school.
“Their mean reason for such fundraising is to reduce students population in classrooms,” he said.

He used the occasion to appeal to the government to come to their aid to construct inner city road networks and to extend electricity to his subjects who are leaving at the site of the community.
