Stop Press -Ghana Falls by the Wayside in Cup of Nations

In spite of two penalties, Ghana’s Black Stars managed to concede two late goals to fall out of the Cup of Nations currently taking place ion Cote D’Ivoire.

Jordan Ayew converted twice from the spot to put Ghana in the lead, but managed to lose the lead in the dying minute.

It was an evening where the Stars demonstrated a lack-luster performance that was far from vintage, but with two goals under the belt, a berth in the knockout stage seemed certainly assured.

The evening left many Ghanaians stunned at the sheer fighting spirit of the little football nation of Mozambique whilst the African football giants bit the dust.
