Stephen Ntim, an aspirant for the position of National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has congratulated all the newly appointed Chief Executives of Metropolitan/Municipal/District Assemblies nominated by H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, and has wished them the very best of luck.
In a post of Facebook, Mr. Ntim, who is a former 1st Vice National Chairman* explained that the role assigned to them is to help grow the local economies, which are expected to translate into job creation and provision of basic amenities to the people.
“I wish to entreat you to focus on these important assignments upon your confirmation, and also ensure that peace and unity prevail in the party in your respective areas, as well as help the grassroots realise their full potentials.
“I would further like to call on all those who applied for but did not get the job, to remain steadfast and cool-headed while keeping an eye on the growth and the betterment of the party in the districts. It is through this that you will also receive the needed recognition in the fullness of time.
“Let us all ensure development in freedom in our various District, Municipal and Metropolitan Assemblies, and continue to support H.E. Nana Akufo-Addo to deliver on the mandate that has been given to him by the good people of Ghana,” he said.
