On day two of his working visit to the Ashanti region, Hon. Dr Bernard Okoe Boye paid a courtesy call to the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II to update him on the progress of the hospitals and his itinerary in the region.
He then proceeded to inspect the 40-bed Suame District Hospital to catch sight of the progress of the facility and as well assess some challenges the facility may face when commissioned.
Hon. Dr Okoe-Boye and his delegation ended the second-day tour at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi, where he visited the Accidents and Emergency Centre, the Physiotherapy Department and inspected the progress of work on the 500-bed Maternity and Children’s block.
