The family of Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings, former President of the Republic of Ghana has announced that there will be a Remembrance Mass at the Holy Spirit Cathedral, Adabraka, on November 12 2021, to mark the first anniversary of his passing, which falls on Friday, November 12, 2021.
A press release signed by Kobina Andoh Amoakwa stated that friends, sympathisers and members of the public are invited to participate in the Remembrance Mass which will commence promptly at 9am.
Attire for the occasion is white.
Due to Covid-19 requirements the Holy Spirit Cathedral will host a limited number of congregants. Seating will thus be on a first come, first served basis.
President Jerry John Rawlings passed away at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital on Thursday, November 12, 2020 after a short illness.
