The death has been announced of Mr. Aaron Obeng Somuah whose sudden death occurred on Tuesday 14th September 2021. He was born on 13th October 1952.
He was a former head master of Achimota Preparatory School, Achimota, and the Okaikoi North Sub-Metro Chairman of the Accra Metropolitan Authority.
He started his primary education at Kokofu United primary and middle school in 1957 to 1967.
He continued at Mpreaso Secondary School 1968 to1973 and had his 2 – Year Post Secondary Teachers certificate in Abetifi Training Collage.
He again had a 3 – Year Diploma (Physical Education) Specialist Training Collage, Winneba in 1980 to 1983.
He then had his Diploma and Bachelor of Education at University of Cape Coast in 1987 to1991.
He was employed as a Teacher at Kwahu Tafo Presbyterian Primary School in 1976 to 1979.
He became the Sports Master in Nkawkaw School Zone from 1979 to August 1980.
Sports Master in St. Louis Training Collage, Kumasi in 1983 to 1986.
Again he was a Sports Master in Kumasi Academy 1986 to 1987.
He was also a Sports Master in Achimota Basic School in 1991 to 2004.
He then became the Head master of Achimota Preparatory School a position he held till his retirement last year October 2020.
He was elected to office as the Okaikoi North Sub-Metro Chairman in November 2017.
