The running mate for Dr. Alhaji Bawumia, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh Prempeh as part of his campaign tour has visited the good people of Wenchi, in the Bono region to solicit their votes come December 7, 2024 if nothing happens.
He made a passionate appeal to Nananom, the various religious denominations and the entire Wenchi residents to reconsider NPP Party this time under the leadership of Dr. Bawumia. He took us back to the party’s records under the Kuffour’s administration of NHIS policy, Nana Addo’s Free SHS, Free TVET education, the School feeding programme, combating of dumsor, planting for food and Jobs among others.
Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh finally pledged his commitment to support Dr. Alhaji Mahamud Bawumia to change the current economy and make it more resilient to meet the aspirations of Ghanaians.
For his part, Osaagyefo Apem Anye Amoampong Tabrako III, the Omanhene of Wenchi Traditional Area on behalf of Wenchi traditional council, also put some of the problems facing his people before the running mate to take into consideration when Ghanaians give them the green light on 7th December.
Nana mentioned poor road network leading to Wenchi town, the need for the stadium to be given a facelift, one factory from 1D1F initiative, at least one government hospital and the only agriculture college in Wenchi must also be completed and supplied with the need infrastructure.
