NASPA CONGRATULATES DR OSEI ADUTWUM ON HIS CONTRIBUTION TO ALLOWANCE INCREMENT OF SERVICE PERSONNEL.

The National Service Personnel Association (NASPA), has congratulated Dr  Yaw Osei Adutwum, the Minister of Education, for his immense contribution to the recent allowance increment of service personnel in the country.
Mr Emmanuel Wit Duncan, the Immediate Past President of NASPA, and his team noted that the visit was to express their heartfelt gratitude to the government for the recent salary increment granted to service personnel.
The Immediate Past President indicated these on Wednesday, 2nd August this year when he and his executives, paid a courtesy visit to the Ministry of Education, in Accra.
He commended the Education Ministry for recognising the invaluable contributions of National Service Scheme (NSS) personnel to the various sectors of the nation, adding “we are always ready to serve the country to the fullest”.
Mr Wit Duncan noted that the salary increment would not only motivate the current and future batches of service personnel, but also enhance the overall effectiveness and impact of the NSS programme.
The Minister of Education, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, expressed appreciation to the service personnel’s of their dedication and commitment to national service.
He reiterated the significance of the NSS program in fostering a sense of civic responsibility and nurturing leadership qualities among the youth.
The increased salary for NSS personnel was officially announced few weeks ago and it has been widely hailed by both past and present beneficiaries of the program.
The substantial raise is expected to alleviate financial burdens on service personnel, enabling them to focus more on their roles in community development projects and other assigned tasks.
