The arrival of superstar forward Erling Haaland forced the Spaniard into a rethink, and it’s taken the manager almost three quarters of the season to discover his optimal formula. Nevertheless, the Citizens are in a great position to claim their third-straight Premier League title and maiden Champions League crown.
They’re beginning to purr down the stretch.

Man City’s summer plans have not been finalised, but they’re expected to tour Asia. Reports suggest the club will attempt to visit Japan, South Korea and Thailand where they will play several friendly matches.
The Citizens will likely face other clubs within the City Football Group portfolio. Japanese outfit Yokohama F. Marinos are one of the teams City plan to face in pre-season – a repeat of the 2019 summer fixture.
