The Member of Parliament for Assin Central Constituency in the Central Region, Mr. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong who is actively prepping up the New Patriotic Party NPP campaign across the country has presented one (1) Nissan Pickup Vehicle to the party ahead of Kumawu by-election.
The move is aimed at assisting the New Patriotic Party NPP to embark on a vigorous campaign and win more votes for Kumawu by-election on Tuesday 23rd May 2023.
Making the presentation at the Party’s National Headquarters, Mr Kennedy Agyepong alluded that the donation is to aid the party to win upcoming by-election
The Assin Central legislature said he is optimistic that the vehicle would facilitate movement in the Constituency and campaign activities so that Party will retain the seat.
He further said that the gesture would be followed by the donation of motor bikes in the Kumawu constituency. To him, the vehicle would be used to campaign at every nook and cranny of the Constituency to win the election.
Receiving the vehicle, Mr. William Yamoah, Director of Finance and Administration for the New Patriotic Party, commended Mr. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong for his kind gesture, noting that the vehicle had come at the right time.
He expressed appreciation for the donation, adding that, the vehicle had come at the right time to lessen the workload on the ground ahead of the elections.
According to him, this is not the first time that the member of Parliament for Assin Central Kennedy Ohene Agyapong is doing such a gesture without the party reaching out to him.
He called on other stakeholders to assist them with other logistics to enable them to reach every constituent in kumawu to make sure NPP will come out victoriously.
