After failing two times to take over the |Ayawaso West Wuogon parliamentary seat, ace Ghanaian actor/politician John Dumelo has turned his face towards Likpe in the Volta region.
Dumelo has tried two times to become Member of Parliament of Ayawaso West Wuogon in the Greater Accra region, but failed each time.
On February 8th, Mr John Dumelo took a first step when he made a donation of assorted hospital equipment and consumables to the Likpe Bakua Polyclinic.
The items included suction machines, nebulizers, pulse oximeters, stethoscopes, liquid soap and sanitizers. Mr Dumelo, who is an actor and entrepreneur, said it was aimed at making healthcare accessible and closer to all, especially citizens in the Guan District.
Mr Okrah Dise, the in-charge of the Polyclinic, received the items and expressed gratitude to Mr Dumelo.
He said they would help improve healthcare delivery. In a related development, Mr Dumelo also donated items to more than 40 widows in Akpafu and also visited students of Bueman SHS who survived a road accident recently.
