The Ministry of Interior has by Executive Instrument renewed the curfew hours for Saboba Townships in the Northern Region from 10:00 pm to 4:00am effective Wednesday, Wednesday, November 10, 2021.
This was contained in a press release dated Wednesday, Wednesday, November 10, 2021. It was signed by Hon Ambrose Derry, Minister for the Interior.
The statement said that government continued to urge the Chiefs, elders, opinion leaders and youth and people of the area to exercise restraint in the face of challenges confronting them as well as use non-violent means to channel their energies into ensuring peace in the area.
Meanwhile, there is a total ban on all persons in the afore-mentioned communities and their environs from carrying arms, ammunition or any offensive weapons and any person found with any arms or ammunition would be arrested and prosecuted.
