The newly enstooled Mawerehemaa of Goaso Traditional Area, Nana Akua Serwaa I, has sworn the Great Oath of allegiance to the Goaso Manhene, Nana Akwasi Bosompra I in Goaso.
The ceremony, which took place at the Goaso Palace on Tuesday, was witnessed by a large crowd, including royals, divisional chiefs, businessman and businesswoman, and many more.
Nana Akua Serwaa I succeeds Nana Ama Boafowaa I, who ruled for many years and destoolled herself over 7 years now.
The new Goaso Manhene Mawerehemaa assured Nana Akwasi Bosompra I and the people of Goaso that she would work hard to continue the good work of his senior sister, to ensure the development of Goaso and the nation at large.
Nana Akua Serwaa I gave an awesome assurance to the people of Goaso and the Traditional Council that she would give priority to the development of the communities around and within the town.
Nana Akua said she was going to work hard and collaborate with colleagues businesswoman and also work hard to convince the citizens of Goaso who live abroad to help the development of their community.
The Paramount Chief of Goaso Traditional Council who doubles as the Ahafo Regional House of Chiefs President, Nana Akwasi Bosompra I cautioned her to be law-abiding and truthful to make sure she will put in every effort to ensure that the people remained united to support the area’s development.
Nana Akwasi Bosompra I asked the new Mawerehemaa to lead a good life and live with the people in peace and harmony.
Nana Manhene advised the new Mawerehemaa to work hard and continue the good work done by her sister.
He urged her to cooperate with the chiefs, queen mother and the people of the town so that she can work smoothly.
