The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the Managing Director of Forte Commodities Limited, Felix Nana Opare Felix on Saturday, October 22, 2023 made the presentation of a cheque of Ten Thousand Ghana Cedis (100 Million Old Ghana Cedis) and 15 Bags of Organic Fertilizers to support Showbouy’s Youth In Agribusiness Foundation (YAF).
This was at the launch in the Twifo-Atti Morkwa District of the Central Region as part of their corporate social responsibilities towards the development of the agriculture sector in country.
According to the CEO and the Managing Director, the youth are the future of a nation and so every facet of their growth and development should be supported.
He added that Forte Commodities Limited has a culture of always investing in the development of the youth, therefore the support for the Showbouy’s Youth In Agribusiness Foundation @(YAF) is in tandem with the Limited commitment to empowering the youth in agribusiness.
Felix Nana Opare added again that the Limited hopes this will encourage the youth to involve themselves in agribusiness.
On this part, the Founder of Showbouy’s Youth In Agribusiness Foundation (YAF) Mr. Isaac Agyiri expressed his profound gratitude to a worthy cause and assured the Forte Commodities Limited of the judiciously use of the amount to support youths in agribusiness in Ghana especially those in the central region.
Felix Nana Opare underscored the need to provide support to the youth in agribusiness not only in central region but the nation as a whole, by giving them the opportunity to provide change that is much needed on the country-Ghana.
The Central Regional Agriculture Director, Dr. Peter Omega also expressed his appreciation to the Forte Commodities Limited. He said he had always anticipated a positive reaction from the Founder of Showbouy’s Youth In Agribusiness clarion call for support to the Showbouy’s Youth In Agribusiness on their launching. Such a gesture will go a long way to help the youth in agribusiness.
