In due diligence to ensure that satisfaction and confidence remains utmost importance, the Food and Drug Authority (FDA) has advised the public not to patronise a pictorial image of an unregistered bottled mineral water, SLIMFIT mineral water to be precised on the Ghanaian market.
SLIMFIT mineral water is produced by the Twellium Industrial Company limited.
As public safety and quality cannot be ascertained, surveillance teams from the FDA are monitoring the markets to remove the unregistered SLIMFIT mineral water from trade and also to find the producers and distributors.
According to the Authority , consumers ought to be vigilant to report any suspicious products to the FDA when buying packaged products for the necessary regulatory action to be taken or better still be an informant to provide any relevant information to assist the Authority in order to actualise an adage of “Be a citizen not a spectator”.
