Disregard false accusations of recruiting strangers into Bibiani mine-Sefwi Anhwiaso Manhene Appeals

The Paramount Chief of Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional Area, Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyabi ll, has refuted claims of recruiting strangers into Asante Gold Corporation in Bibiani instead of the natives.
According to him, a lot of people particularly the youth have unjustly accused him of creating an additional office in Tarkwa in the Western Region through which he extorted monies to recruit strangers into Asante Gold Corporation, a mining firm in Bibiani.
Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyabi ll, who is also the President of the National House of Chiefs and a board member of GNPC was responding to an allegations levelled against him and his elders by some angry youth of Bibiani on one of the local based radio station Okyeme fm in Bibiani and monitored by Daily Searchlight Newspaper Reporter.
He however, in his rebuttal has denied the allegations levelled against him and described it as dirty politics, propaganda and palpable false. He  challenged his accusers to substantiate their claim with an  evidence.
He rather accused that it’s some miscreants who want to cause a fuss as well as politics and chieftaincy interest groups who intend to amass fame for themselves.
Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyabi ll, revealed that he had not influenced any employment so far as Asante Gold Corporation is concerned.
He said, God has blessed him with many positions in government of which he is doing all what he can to bring more development into the area.
He mentioned for instance, President of the Western North Regional House of Chiefs, Council of State Member, a board member of GNPC and President of the National House of Chiefs.
The traditional ruler revealed that he has been able to lobby through his numerous portfolios to lobby for more projects for the residents in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality.
These projects he said included mechanised borehole at Pataboso, 12-seater pour-flash toilet facility at Sefwi Tanoso, construction of two-story building for Bibiani Nursing Training College at Bibiani Kwamekrom which is expected to be converted to a satellite campus for Umat to run basic courses and degree programs.
The rest are a six-unit classroom block at Queen’s Senior High School at Sefwi Anhwiaso, 20-seater toilet facility at Bibiani market, 20-seater toilet facility at Sefwi Anhwiaso, an ultra-modern Science Laboratory and six-unit classroom block at Bibiani Senior Technical School (BSTS) through his initiatives.
Ogyeahoho also highlighted on quality health delivery in the area. he said the health facility was a government’s contribution to improve the health needs of the areas to ensure that health centre and staff are closer to the people to respond quickly to emergency cases.
He referred to Bibiani government hospital, Divine Love hospital, DAKS Medical Center, Redanoso and other CHPS compound in various communities within the Municipality to render proper services to the people.
On roads, he talked about the construction of Bibiani town roads and other feeder roads which have been fixed. This include Subri-Nkwanta/Etwebo stretch, ongoing Asawinso, Merewa-Nkronua road, Aboduabo and Chine to Bibiani road so as to assist the farmers to transport their produce to the market centres.
Touching on education, Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyabi ll, said more than 10 brilliant students within the Bibiani Municipality had benefitted from the GNPC and mine scholarship programme to study abroad and home, which clearly shows that, the government through him had lessened the burden of many parents and guardians, saying that, the monies meant for school fees could be used for another project.
He said the numerous developmental projects that have been executed in Bibiani Municipality under his tenure as GNPC board member and President of the National House of Chiefs really showcase that he has the development of Bibiani at heart.
Ogyeahoho admonished the  youth in the Municipality to  embrace peaceful coexistence and dexist from acts that will tarninsh the good image of Sefwi.
