He hails from Hohoe in the Volta Region of Ghana. However, he considers the Upper West Region his holy land since both his mother and foster father are natives. He attended Nandom Secondary School and then proceeded to Tamale Nurses Training College and later the University of Ghana Business School for his first degree. He also undertook a course in Mental Health at the Cape Coast University and Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) for another course. Clearly one can deduce from his academic background that he’s thoroughly educated. The count is not complete. He is a lawyer by profession this means he has a degree in law and also a professional certificate from the Ghana School of Law.

Nonetheless, before he found a clear academic pathway, he was pursuing his passion; music. Just like most young talented people he wanted to make a mark; he was dedicated. This would make him move from one studio to the other. His influence stems from the likes of Bob Marley and Ras Kimono both of blessed memory. He emerged from the ‘Raggamuffin’ era when Shabba Ranks reigned and influenced Blakk Rasta on his music journey. Practicing law and performing his music is incredibly admirable and he is certainly an inspiration to anyone who seeks to achieve greatness.

Fee Ranking is the name and he is out with the lovely groove ‘Diiri Diiri Daara Daara’.
