The Coastal Development Authority (CODA) has cut the sod for the construction of a 40-Seater Market stall at Agona Abodom in the Agona West Constituency of the Central Region.
The project will be funded under the government’s Infrastructure for Poverty Eradication Programme (IPEP) otherwise known as the “One million dollars per constituency” initiative.
The new market is one of a number of projects that the constituency is benefitting from CODA under IPEP. So far, CODA has completed a 3-unit classroom block with ancillary facilities at Adukrom, a 2-unit KG block with Library/ ICT Centre at Wawase, and a 10-Seater disability-friendly WC toilet each with ancillary facilities at Nkubem and Yabem.
Construction is also ongoing for a modern astroturf and a 6-unit classroom block at Agona Abodom, among other interventions by the Authority.
