Clergy, Imams pray for Boafo Kojo Frempong ahead of filing of nomination forms

Separate special prayers were said at the residence of Chairman of the Local Council of Churches at
Wenchi in the Bono Region, Bishop, Dr. J. K Mensah and the Wenchi Municipal Chief Imam, His
Eminence Alhaji Issah Ibrahim on Tuesday September 10, as prayers for the life of Boafo Kojo
Frempong, the parliamentary candidate for NPP in the Wenchi constituency.
Ahead of the filing Boafo Kojo Frempong had blessings in the form of prayers from the clergy and from
the Wenchi Municipal Chief Imam.
Both of the Chairman of the Local Council of Churches and the Wenchi Municipal Chief Imam prayed for
divine favour on Boafo Kojo Frempong for a successful and peaceful elections.
He was accompanied by the NPP constituency Chairman, Ali Awudu (Bojoono), the Wenchi Municipal
Chief Executive, Honourable Alexander Obour Damamoah, the Constituency Secretary, Alhaji Rahman
Suwari, the constituency Women's Organizer Millicent and other party stalwarts to file on the ticket of
NPP to contest as MP for Wenchi Constituency.
After seeking blessings from the clergy and the Imam he and his entourage proceed to the Wenchi
Municipal office of the Electoral Commission, Ghana to file the nomination.
Addressing the media after filing e nomination Boafo Kojo Frempong called on the executives of the party
and supporters to join the dream as they fight to make it a reality to salvage the good people of Wenchi
from the underdevelopment being witnessed due to poor representation at the Parliament House for the
past four years.
“Today's event draws us on battle ready to rescue Wenchi come December 7 elections to restore Wenchi
to its glory as among the greatest within Ghana,” he reiterated.
He thus charged party stalwarts to share the gospel of Dr Alhaji Mahamud Bawumia to door to door, room
to room, to canvas votes for Bawumia and himself to emerge victorious.
