The Central Regional Command has organised a drug use awareness campaign for students of the University of Cape Coast (UCC), Adehye Hall Students.
The programme was aimed at sensitising students on the dangers of substance use and abuse among students on campus.
The DDR officer, Jennifer Asiedu, cautioned students to stay away from substance abuse as it can have severe effect on their body and internal organs as well as jeopardise their future ambitions.
She therefore advised them to take their academic activities seriously and avoid acts that may push them to experiment these substances.
