Bawumia Must Win (BMW), a diehard group designated to champion the vision of vice president Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia has replied to a viral video of Branded-Bawumia pick-up vehicles on social media by perpetual critics and cynics of Dr. Bawumia within and outside the NPP aimed at causing disaffection for the noble vice president of Ghana.
In a statement jointly signed by its General Secretary, Sir Obama and Gyesi Boako as president appreciated the intense inter and intra political temperature with regards to the upcoming presidential primaries of the NPP and its attendant 2024 general election while they find it repulsive and unfortunate the decision by reckless apparatchiks, some NPP  flagbearer hopefuls and apologists of John Mahama to engage in such libelous exercise.
For the records:
1. The number of branded pick-ups are Six (6), and not One-hundred (100) as alleged and publicized by the NDC Member of Parliament for South Dayi, Hon. Rockson Dafeamekpor and his collaborators.
2. The vehicles (Pick-ups) in question were neither bought, branded and paid for by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia nor his campaign office.
3. The vehicles were not and could not have been bought with proceeds from a yet-to-arrive deal.
4. IMF Funds as mischievously put out by the NDC and asserted by the “internal saboteurs”.
5. The vehicles belong to a group of individuals who believe and share in the vision of Dr. Bawumia.
6. The vehicles are to be used and returned to the owners after the campaign.
The statement entreated the general public to ignore the propaganda sophistry since it is not the first time donors have voluntarily supported a visionary politician logistically and financially.
“For it is worth stating without fear or favor that Dr.Mahamudu Bawumia remains focused, and will not be distracted by negative commentary by political desperados,” the statement concluded.
