A group calling itself Alhaji Seidu Haruna (ASH) Fun Club has been launched in Wenchi in the Bono Region with the appeal on Ghanaians especially the youth and women to vote massively for the Member of Parliament for Wenchi constituency and former President John Dramani Mahama and the NDC come December 7 elections.
In an interview with the Chairperson to the group, Mayvis Yenaa, she said the main objective of the group is to ensure overwhelming support for Hon Alhaji Seidu Haruna (ASH) and former President John Dramani Mahama to the good people of Wenchi constituency.
Mayvis Yenaa said they will mobilize themselves and go to house to house, door to door to campaign for the Alhaji Seidu Haruna and John Dramani Mahama.
In his address on behalf of Honourable Alhaji Seidu Haruna, the Constituency Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Wenchi, Mr Asomah Mohammed popularly known as Chairman Della commended the organizers of the group for coming up with such a great vision to canvas for votes for the party and its presidential and parliamentary candidates.
He also called for unity and vigilance to resonate with the party faithful, as he stressed the importance of working together to retained Honourable Alhaji Seidu Haruna to secure a victory for the NDC and John Dramani Mahama.
Hajia Fati Abubakari, the Bono Regional Women’s Organizer for the party, urged the group to work together with the constituency executives, polling station executives and the party grassroots to secure a victory for both Alhaji Seidu Haruna and John Dramani Mahama come December 7 elections.
