Fifteen Senior High Schools (SHS) drawn from across the country are set to compete for the biggest prize in the 2024 National Business Pitch Competition.

The NBPC is the culmination of JA Ghana’s Company Program, an entrepreneurship
program that empowers high school students to launch and manage their own businesses,
gaining valuable entrepreneurial experience.

The competition which is aimed at developing the innovative skills of students will see schools from various regions in Ghana compete against themselves for the ultimate prize.

Participants: Teams from 15 high schools include Adonten SHS, Tema International School, FijaI SHS, Presbyterian Boys SHS, Legon, Wa SHS, Alpha Beta Christian College, Koforidua SHTS, Adukrom Presbyterian SHTS, Krobo Girls SHS, Archbishop Porter Girls, Keta SHS, Mpohor SHS, Legacy Girls College, Ghanata SHS, and International Community School.

This year’s edition embraces the theme of “Greenovation,” challenging students to develop sustainable businesses that address environmental challenges and promote a greener future for Ghana. ‘Innovative Solutions for a More Sustainable Future.’

The three-day event, brimming with innovation and eco-friendly solutions is scheduled for August 7th to 9th, 2024 at International Community School, Ogbojo near East Legon.

The organizers, Junior Achievement Ghana, are confident that the competition will enhance and sharpen the entrepreneurial skills of young Ghanaians as it had done over the years.

Junior Achievement (JA) Ghana is proud to announce the 2024 National Business Pitch Competition (NBPC), a three-day event brimming with innovation and ecofriendly solutions. From August 7th to 9th, the prestigious competition will see 15 high schools from across Ghana showcase their ingenuity as student entrepreneurs battle it out for the coveted Company of the Year Award.

The NBPC is the culmination of JA Ghana’s Company Program, an entrepreneurship program that empowers high school students to launch and manage their own businesses, gaining valuable entrepreneurial experience. Keynote Speaker: We are delighted to announce that His Excellency Charles Abani, the United Nations Resident Coordinator for Ghana, will be the keynote speaker at our upcoming event.

9th August: Career Readiness Talk and The Awards Night

The NBPC not only provides a platform for young entrepreneurs to showcase their businesses but also fosters an environment of learning, growth, and inspiration.
