Flood has reported taken over Tain District Health Directorate in the Bono Region.
Speaking to the media a Public Health Nurse identified by Philip at the Tain District Health Directorate said they experience the flooding after a heavy rain on Sunday 16th June this year.
He explained that the facility is located in between a choked gutter and river Nyinpine, this according to him the river overflowed it banks hence flowing through the facility.
Flooding here is not regularly but some three years ago we have experienced flood waters here but it was not serious as we have experienced this year.
A nutritional nurse by name Maybel also explained that the rain started at about 10;00 pm but they took it normal meanwhile before they realized the flood has taken over their rooms and destroyed their belongings.
“We are calling on the government to come and help staff at the Tain District Health Directorate she said.
