The Municipal office of the Electoral Commission at Wenchi in the Bono Region has registered, 2,446 individuals in the ongoing limited voter registration excercise within 13 days.
The figures comprises with 1,274 females and 1,172 males according to the EC.
Mrs. Christina Opoku, the Wenchi Municipal Director of the Electoral Commission disclosed this in an interview with Radio West Africa news Nana Anfreh Damanta.
She further reiterated that 555 out of the number registered with their Ghana cards while 5 registered with passports ,1,883 of the registrants used guarantors system .
Furthermore the Wenchi Municipal Director of the Electoral Commission said the commission has also registered 2 persons with disabilities in the ongoing excercise.
