The Chief Executive Officer of NHIA, Dr Okoe Boye has commissioned and handed over a fully furnished NHIS district Office complex to the management of the NHIS at Asawase in the Ashanti region.
The expansion of NHIA infrastructure nationwide is to create a conducive working environment for staff, improve productivity, and draw health insurance policies and assistance close to the people.
The Asawase NHIS office is amongst the lucky 4 out of 27 districts to benefit from the new NHIS office complex in Ashanti Region.
Present at the commissioning was the representative of the Ashanti regional Chief Imam, Imam Umar Tawhir Saeed,
Chairman of the ceremony and Director of Asokore Mampong Municipal Health Directorate, Rev. Dr. Solomon Anum-Doku and a host of Muslim and traditional leaders.
Staff were charged to adopt good maintenance practices to maintain the edifice.
