The Finland Branch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has congratulated Dr Freda Prempeh, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Tano North Constituency, on her appointment as the new Minister of Sanitation and Water Resource.
According to the diaspora group, Dr. Freda Prempeh’s appointment is a testament of her hard work, dedication, and commitment to public service and the incumbent NPP adding “As a friend to our Branch, we celebrate you”.
A statement signed by the Branch Chairman, Mr. James McKeown, stated that the MP’s appointment affirms her exemplary leadership and proven track record in advocating for a better society.
“We have had the privilege of witnessing your tireless efforts and determination to improve the lives of your constituents. Your passion for providing clean water and promoting proper sanitation in various communities in Tano North is commendable” it indicated.
Mr. James McKeown noted that her experience, expertise, and vision would be instrumental in addressing the challenges faced by Ghana in ensuring access to safe water and improved sanitation for all citizens adding “The sector needs effective policies and initiatives urgently”.
The statement further entreated Dr Freda Prempeh to make a significant impact to shape the direction of the country’s sanitation and water management policies, in order to witness positive and transformative changes under her tenure.
It implored the Minister nominee to lead her new role with integrity, compassion, innovation, and always keeping the welfare of the people at the heart of her decisions, in order to become a true inspiration to women in leadership and young women aspiring to be in politics.
Mr James McKeown, on behalf of the Finland NPP Branch, pledged the group’s support to Dr Freda Prempeh in her new role emphasizing that together we can make our country great and strong.
