The renowned actor Mr. Akwasi Boadi popularly known in the movie and media industry as Akrobeto and other senior members of the movie industry has paid a visit to Hon. Yaw Osei Adutwum, the Education Minister.
They paid a courtesy call on Wednesday, 12th April 2023.
The delegation was led by renowned actor Akwasi Boadi (Akrobeto) and also included Okyeame Kwame, Koo Ofori, Samuel Nyamekye of Miracle Films, Director Jones, as well as Mikky Berko to the Hon. Education Minister office.
According to them, the hope of contributing to the Education Transformation Agenda is their priority and they are ready to help with the education transformation agenda.
They further explained their willingness to contribute to the development of the education sector through films and promised to produce films that not only entertain but also educate the masses on various societal issues.
Furthermore, the importance of using films as a tool for education urged the film producers to ensure that the films they produce will tell the untold stories of Ghana and inspire greatness in children.
The Education Minister Hon. Yaw Osei Adutwum who’s double as a Member of Parliament (MP) urged them that, they should let this collaborative effort between the movie industry and the education sector bring transformation and raise the nation through films.
