The Police have arrested five persons for causing unlawful harm and damage at Bono East NDC Regional Office.
The five arrested suspects were Kojo Agyei alias Kojo Cocaine, Illiasu Sulemania aka Oboot, Andrew Kemire, Fatau Abdallah and Alhaji Nuhu for their alleged involvement in attacks at the NDC Regional party office at Techiman in the Bono East regional on July 28,2022.
During the attacks, one person sustained multiple knife wounds and is currently on admission at Techiman Government hospital. The sliding windows of the party office and a vehicle which was parked at the office were vandalised.
The suspects were arraigned to court on the 1st August, 2022 to face the full rigors of the law.
A statement issued by the Police on the arrest of the obstinate suspects indicated that the police will not hesitate to apply the law if individuals and groups refused to choose dialogue rather than violence to resolve their differences.
