Akyem Oda MP organise Mock Exams for JHS students

The Member of Parliament for Akim Oda Constituency Hon Alexander Akwasi Acquah has organized mock exams for 1688 students in 40 Public and Private schools in the Akyem constituency in the Birim Central Municipality in Eastern Region.

Some of the schools that took part in the mock exams are Hecta International School, Islamic JHS, Wesley Methodist JHS, Old Town Methodist JHS, Freeman Methodist JHS, Aboabo Salvation Army JHS, Ridge Experimental JHS, Presby Mix JHS, Frimpong Manso JHS and so on.

The initiative is aimed to improve the performance of the students in the upcoming Basic Education Certificate Exams and give them first hand experience in the exams.

The Member of Parliament for Akim Oda Constituency, speaking to the students stated that the mock will help prepare them for the main BECE so he urged them to take the exams very serious.

He said the exams will help them to know where they are falling short so that they can correct themselves and write the upcoming exams well and pass with flying colors.

He urged them to take their lesson serious so that they can win the presidential awards.

He congratulated them for the bold step taken in writing the mock.

The Educational Director for Birim Central Municipality Mr. Benjamin Cudjoe expressed his appreciation to the Member of Parliament for such a project.

According to him the mock exams will help motivate the students for the upcoming BECE exams.

He advised parents to help their students learn whenever they are in the house.
